Many developers can build boxes, but few can cultivate communities. For London Regional & Panama, Panama Pacifico is a labor of love, fuelled as much by personal passion as financial investment.

It’s all about nurturing a sustainable community in a sustainable environment. Panamá Pacífico has emerged from a public-private partnership between the Panamanian State and the developers London & Regional Panamá, as part of a 40-year sustainable city masterplan. The aim is to create a landmark new town – the first in Latin America – where people can live, work and play in awe-inspiring natural surroundings.

With direct access to downtown Panama City, the Panama Canal and the Pacific Ocean, the project is a vast mixed-use scheme within the country’s Special Economic Zone. In the initial phase alone, around a quarter-million square metres of residential and commercial space has been constructed, leased or sold.

With its commitment to an ecologically sustainable model, the project has set aside nearly six million square metres of its plot to be preserved as natural landscape and forest. In this way, Panamá Pacífico represents a forward-thinking platform for future value-creation, creativity and growth.
